Tiong Bahru

Original cooking stove & chimney preserved and repurposed into a wardrobe.

Tiong Bahru is one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore. The blocks of apartments were built in the 1930’s as public housing and has been conserved.

These pre war apartments with charming Art Deco facades has attracted young professionals looking for a hip residential estate close to the central business district.

We had the opportunity to work on one of these apartments revamping the interior while retaining some of the unique features of the apartment.
